Cross Country Update

The fifth and final race in the Three Counties series took place today and was kindly hosted by the Biggleswade A.C.
On a slightly shortened course due to flooding 15 fine athletes stepped up to represent the club. Well done to everyone who ran so hard throughout the season, it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable set of races with some great courses to test us all out!
Also a big well done to Molly White and Rebecca Woodward who represented the Juniors on Saturday in the Chiltern league race at Keysoe, they both ran hard in a very competitive field that included a chilly water hazard that was not for the faint hearted! In the Ladies category Claire Innes made her debut and produced a great run.
Last of all a special high five goes out to David O’Connor who once again represented on both days, he is fast becoming a cross country legend!
Although the Three Counties season has wrapped up, it’s not all finished as the final race in the Chiltern League takes place February 10th and everyone is welcome. We are hoping to have a number of juniors running and it will be great to get an adult team together as well, so don’t be shy!
