About the club
We are a group of local people of varying ability all keen on keeping fit. Meeting regularly we provide a sociable atmosphere within which to get fit and stay fit taking advantage of the lovely local countryside. So whether you want to try a triathlon, do an Ironman or even represent Great Britain, then do come and join us. Olney Runners AC is affiliated to England Athletics and is a member of the Association of Great British Athletics Clubs.
A little bit of our history...
Olney Runners was created in 2002 as a means of allowing one woman to achieve her goal of running a marathon and to provide a safe and supportive environment for her to train. Since this first run around Emberton Park, the club has achieved so much and evolved, with members competing in numerous and varied races. Most importantly, Olney Runners has introduced running to many households within Olney and the surrounding area and from that some great friendships have grown.
