AGM: Wednesday 9th December 2015
Posted by Michael Pezaro on 10 November 2015
The Olney Runners Annual General meeting will be held at 8.30pm on Wednesday 9th December, at the Carlton House Club.
We recognise that this means a few club members will be dashing straight in from turbo training, but at least you will be able to cool off with a pint from the bar :-)
The AGM is the opportunity to review the performance of the club and discuss ideas for the future. You will hear an update on the financial outcome of the year and also hear about how we have performed against the targets for 'Performance, Inclusivity and Fun' in 2015.
You will also have opportunity to volunteer yourself to take a role on the club committee (and/or take part in voting in the new club committee members) for 2016.
Details on the committee roles will be circulated via email shortly, so if you feel you have the skill set, time, and enthusiasm to get involved, you can think about putting your name forward. There are of course certain tasks that need to be undertaken to ensure the effective running of the club, but we don't necessarily need to be constrained by the role titles and descriptions that we have traditionally had on the committee, and we can discuss how we can leverage your particular skill set to create a brilliant team for the New Year.
We have a standard agenda for the meeting, but this is also an opportunity for any club member to raise a subject for discussion, so if you have an item that you would like on the agenda, please email Helen Diamand at helen.diamand@communisis.com by Friday 4th December.
The standard agenda is as follows:
Finance update (report from Club Treasurer)
Membership Update (Membership Secretary)
Highlights from 2015 (Club President)
Committee roles
AOB
Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the AGM! :-)
